A Note from Amirah

As an entrepreneur, I found myself in my own season of growth. I was preparing to meet a deadline for an exciting opportunity—to be interviewed and featured by Bold Journey. In that conversation, I shared my path: the lessons I’ve learned, the experiences I’ve lived, and how they’ve shaped the way I serve the people and companies I partner with today.

So often, people know what I do, but not the why behind it, or the vision that’s been guiding me all along.

I launched my company, Grow Scale Develop, because I kept seeing the same underlying issue. Companies often brought me in to “fix their sales,” pointing to external factors like economic trends, customer behavior, or internal elements like product features or landing pages.

But when I assess a company, I take a different approach. I start with the core: the problem they’re solving and how well they understand—and communicate with—their customers. From there, I look at the teams responsible for sales, ops and marketing. Do they have the right experience, a solid strategy, and the necessary resources? Can internal teams collaborate effectively? And most importantly, does the leadership have the vision and adaptability to navigate inevitable changes without disrupting revenue?

These are just some of the questions I help my clients work through—because without clear answers, a strong strategy, and consistent execution, a company struggles to thrive and, ultimately, to be profitable.

It takes me back to my early days in banking, when I was known as the turnaround manager. I’d often hear, “Give Amirah an office, and she’ll make it profitable—she loves the challenge.” It was tough work, like solving a complex puzzle, but I knew how to do it.

And now, years later, I’m doing it again—just in a new way. That’s growth.

Here’s how I help companies grow in three key ways:

1. Advisor or Fractional Leader – I work side by side with founders and executive teams to assess the business, uncover hidden opportunities, and build actionable plans—with a focus on quick wins that drive revenue growth.

2. Voice of Customer Deep Dive – We unlock meaningful customer insights that inform new products, services, experiences, and revenue opportunities. When you know what your customers actually want, you can build and sell with confidence.

3. Leadership Speaking & Coaching – I inspire and help leaders gain clarity, strengthen team dynamics, and develop the personalized skills they need to navigate change, resolve conflict, and inspire action. Growth starts with strong leadership.

For my solopreneurs and early-stage founders—who hold a special place in my heart—we’ve built a curated mastermind and community designed to support their sales growth with practical tips and strategic insights. As I often remind my clients: if you aren’t planting seeds today, you can’t expect flowers tomorrow. Business development is planting leads now to have visible results in the months to come.

My recent conversation with Bold Journey was a reflection of my own growth—and how fitting that it came out this spring. You can read the article here and share it with anyone going through their own season of growth.

If you're feeling the "growing pains of spring," know this: you're not alone—and you don’t have to do it alone. Take time to pause and reflect on what you're building. There’s beautiful growth unfolding, and if you just stop for a moment, you might even catch the scent of roses.

If you’re looking for a thought partner or are curious about how I can support you, let’s connect and hop on a quick zoom. I named my company Grow Scale Develop with intention—and I’d love to help you do just that.
